As an Amazon Associate, UnitCheck earns from qualifying purchases. This means if you click an Amazon affiliate link on this site and buy something within 24 hours, Amazon pays us a commission (typically 3–7% of the purchase price, depending on the product category). You pay the same price you would pay on Amazon directly—your cost does not change.

How we rank products

Our rankings are formula-driven, not paid placements. Specifically:

• Products are ranked by their unit price (e.g., $/g protein), with optional filters for brand, dietary flags, or other attributes
• The formula is documented in detail on our public /methodology page
• Commission rates do not enter any ranking formula. A cheaper product per unit is ranked higher, regardless of whether it earns us more or less commission
• We do not accept money, free products, or other consideration from brands or retailers to rank a product higher
• Every ranking is transparent; we do not have secret factors

Prices and freshness

The prices shown on UnitCheck are from our automated sync with Amazon, which runs multiple times per day. The "Last synced" timestamp on every product page shows when we last checked. Always verify the current price on Amazon before purchasing—prices change constantly and may differ from what we show.

Affiliate disclosure on every page

This disclosure appears in the footer of every page on UnitCheck that contains affiliate links. Additionally, buying guide and category pages include a visible reminder above or below the product rankings.

Future retailers

When UnitCheck expands to other retailers (Walmart, Best Buy, Newegg, and others in Phase 2), each will be added to this disclosure, and equivalent affiliate disclosures will apply. The core principle remains: independent formula-driven rankings, not paid placement.

No endorsement

UnitCheck's inclusion of a product does not constitute an endorsement of its quality, safety, or fitness for any purpose. We calculate unit prices; we do not verify nutritional claims, test products, or guarantee safety. Always read product packaging and consult a professional before making health-related decisions.
